As the world shut down in 2020, dancers from the Australian Ballet went from performing on epic stages to miniature dance floors in their own homes. So, for the nominees of the Telstra Ballet Dancer Awards, we crafted six micro-ballets, choreographed and performed specifically for the mobile screen. Every element was built for 9:16 social, from the bespoke 4x2 metre dance floor to the elaborate vertical set builds.
